Count your blessings - May 2022
- Putting the radio on in the car on a popular hit station and listening to Kabouter singing along with almost each song
- Massages at work
- A ping-pong tournament in the office
- The first business trip since autumn 2019
- Meeting my regional colleagues in real life and getting to know them better
- Enjoying a meal again after 48h of stomach issues
- Summer weather and dinners outside
- Discovering new Netflix series again after months of Netflix dip
- Parades and marching bands in the city
- Listening to the carillon songs while walking through the countryside
- Dancing on a birthday party
- Social events everywhere...so much social time
- Making time to read some books (and deciding that leaving gaps on this blog is just fine)
- Planting flowers and vegetables in the garden...the hope for them to flower and grow greatly all summer. The fun of watering them each night and see them grow hopefully
- Getting to know some neighbours
- Wearing dresses again and sandals (and needing so much less time to get the boys dressed now they only need a short and T-shirt and underwear)
- Cuddling Rodin
- Two days with an empty agenda after a few very socially filled weekends.
- Observing the 2 brothers when engaged together in some imaginary play together
- Listening to the songs of blackbirds, robins, finches and other beautiful singing birds in the woods
This is a monthly list of simple things in my life that make me happy or that make me smile.
