Some sights from Utrecht

Two weeks ago I was in Utrecht for regional work meetings and we strolled in the evening through the historic city center to go out for dinner together.  Much to the surprise and amusement of my Dutch colleague who lives there, we were all shooting pictures like tourists.  But you know me...I can't be anywhere without clicking my phone all the time.

Our restaurant was down at the grachten with a small entrance but that lead to an eternal huge range of underground halls and rooms etc...some in red velvet that made me wonder where on earth we ended up. But we were nicely seated in a decent vaulted room with good food served.
