German relatives visiting
This visit was overdue since March 2020 when a global virus cancelled all plans, but finally we got together again. I fear we were together the last time at Willy's funeral.
Since Willy's widow was coming along, I had invited my mother with us as well so they both could catch up again just like their visit in 2014. Yet for the younger generation, it was the first time they got over in the east of Belgium (although we had met closeby twice). Ironically you'd think it's really close drive but in reality it's hardly faster to reach us there then from Leuven because they need to cross the beautiful but windy roads from the Eifel.

We hosted a brunch and fortunately the predicted rain didn't torture us, so we could also catch some fresh air outdoor.
It was very cosy to catch up and hang out together and we promised not to wait years again to meet.
