Frozen forests and boglands

Previous weekend, before all of Belgium got a nice snow shower, we already enjoyed winter time in the east of Belgium.   There was a little crust of snow and the temperatures were still deep in the freezer there.

We went for a walk at the higher parts hoping the trees would be nicely frozen in the fog. Funny enough, we saw many of the gorgeous along the way but it was always very local.  I really enjoyed the winter experience though...up to marvellously frozen mud cristals.

And then some frozen trees rose up majestically like strong mysterious giants and I adored it.

On our drive, the beauty of the frozen landscape was captivating.
