The frozen high fens

Mid February was freezing deeply in the east of Belgium and the boys had a schoolfree Friday.  I spent a long weekend with the boys while Jan had to return from a week meetings in the USA. 

On Saturday afternoon, Jan came home and a little later 2 schoolfriends of the boys and their mom joined us as well for a visit. 

We woke up with a nice 2cm of fresh snow and then we got treaeted to sunshine and a blue sky. Absolutely marvellous to go for a great walk near the Botrange. It was so stunning to be out in the crisp freezing air.
