Visiting Mini-Europa
When we visited the Atomium at request of Beertje, I had booked combi tickets with Mini-Europe next door. I had never seen it and was curious.
I remember news bulletins that it had to close and disappear so I assumed it was in a bad shape and not spectacular. But it's always cute to see a miniature world, isn't it?
As you can notice I found there were nice little activist details or political references linked to the values of the European Union. Also for the buildings of Great Britan we had to pass some border control zones.

Right away I was amused and entertained by the buildings and scenes that I recognized. And each European country truly had multiple sites, more than I anticipated so it was much bigger than I had imagined. And at the start of each country you can play the national anthem and animate some of the scenes.

Really I was quite amused. And later also relieved to read that after a long closure and lots of news that Mini-Europe would close down, their permits had been renewed and they seem there to stay. Good, then I can only recommend visiting it!
