A walk along Robertville lake
Thanks to Jan being able to work from home a full week, we managed to go to the east of Belgium with his car in the first week of Easter. But when he had important meetings I ensured we were not around the house: going on a walk, running errands, etc. Fortunately we were blessed with gorgeous weather.
I convinced the boys to do a long forgotten walk which we discovered in 2021 but haven't done in the last couple of years I assume. It used to be a long distance walk for which we took a pick-nick...haha, now it was just a 7km walk we did just like that.

First we headed to Bruyères where Kabouter spotted in the ruffle of the bushes some movement and to our delight we discovered 3-4 lizards. pretty cool huh?
Halfway we reach the little ruin that had charmed us so much in the past
At a little rocky beach, the boys started enjoying skipping stones but also digging up rocks and splashing them into the water. It resulted in a pretty wet but laughing Kabouter. I enjoyed observing them and giving them all the time for their game. It was so nice there and at home they'd stick to their screens pretty quick again...so just splash and skit away boys.
