Reunion with friends in Maastricht

Good Friday was a good Friday because we 

- got to spend the day in Maastricht

- it was fabulous summer weather

- and we got to see our American long-time blog friends Q & H again.

After meeting Q the first time in 2010 ,  when he was chasing the Tour the France passing through our country, we met his new wife H in 2014. She is just as crazy about the Tour de France and she first came to Belgium when they were going to chase the cyclists again in 2014 and also again at the end of  2017.  We were so happy to hear they had not waited another 4 year before coming back.  And we have already a cycling meet-up date in 2021 when the world championship will end in our street in Leuven!!! Woohoo that'll be fun madness.

This time we met in Maastricht just before they'd follow the Amstel Gold Race and the Flèche Wallonne closeby.  It's always fun to meet such great people again so we had been happy to travel to Maastricht to meet again.

First we caught up in a cute little cat coffee shop Pluk Cats & Coffee. While the children tried to chase the cats and lure them with the present toys, we enjoyed a chat together over a latte. 

Then we spent the day of sightseeing in Maastricht together.
