Our new basement : the evolution between before and after
The making of the entertainment room. (inspired by the basements in the US/ Canada/ Germany) where you hang around to watch movies, chill together etc.
Version 1...which quickly deteriorated as it also become the place to "temporarily" store boxes etc. Baby stuff that was no longer needed was quickly put aside there and...stayed around. So in 2020 we needed a big clean-up action to free up space when the children were home from school and had to get used entertaining themselves. So we freed up space again so they could sit in the "room next" to our office. At the same time a lot of their toy boxes cluttering the living room also moved down to make up a wall of plastic curver boxes.

Already before lockdown, I had the habit to work from home more regularly so had worked on ergonomy with better chair, better screens, etc...
