We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Ronny Mosuse - Mr Blue Sky

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Gosh I've taken weeks to find a follow-up on Anne's choice this week (and so I ate all our advance we had built up in prescheduling this series) .  It's not like her choice of Neil Finn with "I can see clearly now" didn't give me inspiration.  No, it gave me too much and for weeks my thoughts went in all directions without a conclustion.

First of all there is the theme of seeing. On top of that, Neil Finn's version donated all the receipts to good causes for eye diseases.  I wanted some song on an eye disease but couldn't find one.  Eye sight on the other hand was a good inspiration.

I mean really, have you listened to his version of it? It touches me so much.  
But it was so sad and in contrast with the bright day and the optimism when you can see clearly now.  Nope, I am hoping to find an occasion for Pieter Embrecht another time. 

So what  does sparkle with that optimistic bright day? What is bright? What is a great day?

If "I can see clearly now" is a cover from Jimmy Cliff, I can search for another cover from Jimmy Cliff? Wasn't 'Gimmy hope Jo'anna" by him too (I double checked now...it isn't) but I didn't know when I was listening to

Back to the bright day...It was going to day with a blue sky.   Then all of a sudden I thought of Mr Blue Sky.   I did want to find a cover so I hesitated between Ronny Mosuse and Weezer or Lilly Allen.  The latter was ugly but Weezer is also a cool version.  
But after long internal debate I chose Ronny Mosuse as I like the live version and the live mucisians in it.
