Tour de la Warche towards Weywertz

Some habits are odd. We walk the Tour de la Warche so often but always in one direction. Then we stop at the bridge to throw stones in the water but disregard that the trail continues there.

Early October I decided to walk the other way: we'd start at the bridge and then follow the river to the next village and return via village roads or the Ravel.  It was a lovely change of scenery and still so close.

Our usual end point was now our starting point

Welcome in the Warche valley

It was our first autumn walk and although it's a bit early to see all trees in their full glory, I was happy to spot the first mushrooms and several of my favourite orange coral fungi.

In this tunnel the Warche river goes underneath the Vehnbahn Ravel on which we bike often in the summer on top.

Goed idee om het eens even anders te doen. Ziet er mooi uit!
